Tailwind CSS is great. But from time to time I think about "why don't I just use CSS?". Should I start to replace Tailwind in Kwai? It will be a lot of work. And don't get me wrong, Tailwind is great. But it's a extra layer and something you need to learn. Just like an ORM that hides SQL. I don't like ORM's, because when it becomes complex, you have to switch to SQL anyway. I know SQL and I know CSS, but if you jump right into an ORM or Tailwind, you don't learn the underlying techology.
Also this week I've read the story about an AI agent that wrote a blog post because a PR of that agent was cancelled. It is astonishing.
